Terms of Service

These terms apply to emergera.ai and to programs, events and services offered by Emergera LLC, a company registered in the State of Washington ("Emergera", "we"). By registering or paying, you agree to them.

Programs and events

Program descriptions, schedules and instructors are described on each program page. We may adjust session times, content or format to improve the program, and we'll tell enrolled learners in advance of material changes.

Payment

Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise and are charged at checkout through Stripe. Referral codes identify the community or partner that referred you. They do not change the price.

Certificates and career pathway

Certificates are issued to learners who meet the published completion criteria. Career-pathway eligibility means eligible learners can be considered for career opportunities through USM Business Systems. It is not a promise of employment, interviews or placement.

Your conduct

Be respectful in live sessions and community spaces. Don't share recordings, paid course material or access links outside your cohort. We may remove access for harassment or misuse, without refund.

Your work

You own the projects you build. You grant Emergera permission to show your capstone title, description and demo in program showcases only if you opt in.

Our material

Course material is for your personal learning. You may keep and use it, but you may not resell or republish it.

Third-party services

Some projects require third-party services such as an AI model API key. You are responsible for your own accounts and any usage costs on those services.

Liability

Programs are provided for education. To the extent permitted by law, Emergera's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the program concerned.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
